Good morning

My breakfast.
Good morning! Woke up feeling quite good so I decided to make myself breakfast. I realise there is no butter in the house so I had to visit the market and my dad conveniently asked me to get some coffee and tea for him. (Anyway he was nice he gave me 20bucks for shopping)
This is one of the usual food my mom and her friends ate for lunch usually with large amounts of salads. Really simple and quick. Pluck some salad grass from the pot outside and sprinkled it on top. This suddenly reminds me of the spring onion I grew (back in 1999), I was happily preparing it for the porridge for lunch on a particular day. My mom picked them out and refused to eat it. This is something very unusual of her, normally she add heaps of coriander leaves, spring onions (all the grass into her dish). So I was determined to know why and after much pestering she confessed that she was afraid of eating it because she squeeze the water from the laundry while she was hanging it on the string at the corridor. Now I would ask and remind her regularly if she had done anything to the plants.
Dad was cheating, he finish the fillings before the bread and ask for refill. Hahaha I’m quite glad that I’ve such happy go lucky parents. I told him once and he said “ yea lar take us as clowns right.’’
Enjoy the simple pleasures in life. I love starting my day with good food.

Yesterday was the last day of Suntec book fair, I'm glad that my parents persuaded me to go. Quite a fruitful day. And did I mention I like visiting supermarkets especially with parents around. There were alot of nice cherries at $1.29/100grams. And some stupid middle age women (not being bias or what they happen to be from China) was eating cherry after cherry like free sampling. The men at the other end were worst, they peeled the rambutans and just eat away like that and throw the skin back into the pile.
You still have a long way to go in advancement and it's not measured by the Olympics.
